Just out here living the dream!

Hello pet lovers, my name is Meg. I opened Paradise Paws with the vision of providing a secure place for owners to leave their pets knowing they'd be leaving them in the care of someone who is trained and knowledgeable of the needs of their pets.

​

Excellence in care, safety, and keeping skills up to date are my top priorities. Paradise Paws offers reasonable pricing without sacrificing quality in love and passion for what we do and the pets we care for. 

​

My experience started in South Carolina where I worked in a facility that housed over 100 dogs a night and about 20-30 daycare dogs a day. I also had to care for cats, fish, and even a tortoise! I had to work at a fast pace but also pay very close attention to detail of each pet such as medication and feeding as each individual (even in the same household) is completely different. With this strict experience, I opened Paradise Paws which has now expanded into the #1 Pet Resort in the area!

I've been with Paradise Paws for 4 years and have met some amazing dogs along the way. I recently had to have major knee surgery, but I'm excited to be back!

I'm Alexis and I've been Paradise Paws for a year now but I'm also currently a student at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI! I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Legal Studies and a core concentration in American Sign Language!

Skills (Kennel Staff): Oral Medication Administration, First Aid, Special Needs Dog Experience, Injected Medication Administration, Senor Dog Experience, Nutritional Advisory, Pet CPR, Detailed training in understanding dog body language and playgroup handling.​Skills (Grooming Staff): Custom cuts, Doodle cuts, General and Advanced grooming knowledge, Pet CPR, Skin Assessment Certificates.
